A Villa With History and Heart

Originally a local landmark, the “Old Villa” has long served the Onekakā community — as a post office, library, and general store. When REN XUE Australasia purchased the REN XUE Farm in 2022, the Villa was in a derelict state. But its rich history and potential couldn’t be overlooked.

Through the dedication of many helping hands, the Villa has been beautifully restored to New Zealand’s latest environmental and building standards. This transformation honours its roots while creating a safe, vibrant space for REN XUE teachings and gatherings.

Purpose and Community Use

The REN XUE Villa is envisioned as a living, breathing part of the community—a place where learning, sharing, and personal growth can flourish.

1. REN XUE teacher & student get-togethers (e.g., potluck teas & BBQs).
2. Small Yuan Gong classes and practice sessions.
3. Yuan Ming healing sessions.
4. One-on-one Yuan Gong lessons.
5. REN XUE meetings & workshops.
6. Affordable accommodation for community members.
7. A camping area for short-term stays
